  • Background

    I was born in Killeen, Texas to a Black Hawk pilot and a mental health professional. I’ve travelled my entire life but call Fayetteville, NC home. Each of the places I’ve travelled has greatly influenced my ideas on art and design.

  • First Job

    I spent the summer working in my Grandfather’s transmission shop. It’s a rite of passage for the grandchildren in the Wardlaw family.

  • Career Highlights

    Developing the print and web marketing collateral for the 2007 Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference. Opening a restaurant in New Orleans, LA.

  • Guiding Principles

    “Not all those who wander are lost” – Keeps my mind open and accepting of difference of opinion, those things that are drastically unconventional and original.

    My Parents, Gordon Parks, William McDonough, Shepard Fairey, Kanye West…

  • Giving Back

    Spending time and sharing my experiences with my nephews as they grow and experience the world themselves is the most important thing I can do to give back.

    Owning and operating a restaurant named “Best of…” by USAToday.com.

  • Perfect Day

    A warm day in July, a crawfish boil, a friendly soccer match with my nephews playing alongside me and fellowship with my loved ones.
